Mrs. Wanda Sue Wilkins, 73, of Red Springs, was born to the late Mr. Lennon and Mrs. Martha Jones Warriax on December 19, 1944, and departed this life May 1, 2018.      

    She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Ann Wilkins; five brothers, Glenn, Bobby, Delton, Berlin and Harold Warriax and six sisters, Margret Warriax, Myrtle Deese, Shelby Jane Alessio, Gretchen Clearwater, Libby Beasley and Esther Lindsey.

     Mrs. Wilkins was in the Native Arts and Crafts business for over 30 plus years. She sold Native American Jewelry and worked Pow Wows all over the U.S. She was well known in the Native American Community.

    She leaves to cherish her memories; her husband, James A Wilkins of the home; two daughters, Sherry L Wilkins of Spruce Pines, NC, Susan Warriax of Lumber Bridge, NC and two special nieces, Patsy Oxendine and Betty Ann Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.
