William Junior Chavis

    Mr. William Junior Chavis was born June 2, 1970 in Robeson County to the late Harold William Chavis and Sallie Chavis and departed this life at the age of 51 on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.

     He loved spending time with his family and was a fan of the Duke Blue Devils and National Hot Rod Association. He received an Associate Degree in Industrial Maintenance and was employed by Campbell Soup.

     In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Essie Bell and Robert Locklear and Junior “Fuzzy” Chavis and Nove Jo Chavis.

     He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rhonda Lowery Chavis; his daughter, Dr. Brooke Leanne Chavis of the home; his mother, Mrs. Sallie Chavis; a brother, Mr. Ronnie Chavis (Tasha) of Wagram, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
