Wendy Clark Carbaugh

   Mrs. Wendy Clark Carbaugh, age 60 of Maxton, North Carolina was born on October 18, 1962 to the late Mr. Ronald L. Clark and Mrs. Windola Clark Bullard. She departed this life on Sunday, July 30, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Ronald L. Clark, her brother-in-law Mr. Jerry Wayne Lowery, and her stepfather Mr. Sam Bullard.

   Wendy enjoyed reading, watching movies, and listening to gospel music. The love of her life was her seven beautiful grandchildren and her family. Wendy never met a stranger. She enjoyed talking to people and making them feel at ease.  All the people in the neighborhood called her “Ma”.

   She leaves to cherish her memories, her mother: Mrs. Windola Bullard of Maxton,  two daughters: Mrs. Sheryl N. Deese of Rowland, and Miss Condola L. Carbaugh of Maxton; one son: Mr. Eddie Lamar Carbaugh of Red Springs and the father of her children Mr. Eddie Carbaugh of Red Springs; one sister: Mrs. Jennifer C. Lowery of Maxton; two brothers: Mr. Nicholas Clark (Tracey) of Pembroke and Mr. Jonathan Clark (Deidra) of Maxton; two step brothers: Mr. Tony Bullard (Cora) and Mr. Timmy Bullard (Crystal) both of Maxton;  seven grandchildren: Jacobie Strickland, Ashton Strickland, Jahaven Locklear, Zaylan Locklear, Paiden Deese, Damiran Chavis, and Zemira Chavis; and a host of special nieces, nephews, family and friends.
