Wendell “Wink” Bullard was born February 26, 1948, to Clement and Ziatta (Dial) Bullard. He is preceded in death by his grandson Early Elijah Bullard, and his parents.
He is survived by his daughter, Wendy Bullard of the home, sisters; Emma Jane (James Earl) Lowery, Mary L. (Welbert) Cummings, and twin sister, Ruth Bullard Locklear. Also, two brothers, Clement (Jacqueline) Bullard Jr. and Ray (Joan) Locklear. Wyndell departed us for his heavenly home on October 12, 2020. He is best known for his mechanical skills. “If Wink couldn’t fix it nobody could” was often said about Wyndell. He was well liked by his classmates, many relatives and community.
Wendell was a charter member of the Prospect Volunteer Department. Cozy Corner was the place to get up with Wink if you wanted dirt hauled, help with anything, or just to talk. He will be missed dearly by family and his many friends.
