Wedford Jones, Sr.

Mr. Wedford Jones, Sr., 70, was born May 12, 1955. He was born to the late Mr. Zelbert and Hazel L. Jones. He passed on February 2, 2026, transitioning to his eternal home.

He is proceeded in death by his wife Mrs. Beverly Jones and his son Clem Zelbert “C2” Jones, three brothers: Mr. Jessie Locklear, Mr. Ledford Jones, Mr. Stedford Jones; three sisters Mrs. Flora J. Jones, Brenda Jones and Mrs. Linda Goodman.

He leaves to cherish his memories, four children: Derrick Jones (Lou), Dentrey Jones of the home, Wedford Jones, Jr. (Trina) of Maxton, Terry Clark, Richard Clark. Eleven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; one sister Mrs. Thelma Johnson, a special niece Janie Jones, and a host of family and friends.
