Veola Woods

Ms. Veola Woods, 95 of Pembroke, NC was born May 27, 1924 and departed this life on earth for her eternal life on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Glen Flora of Lumberton, NC.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Fodie Bell Woods; two infant babies; one brother, Roscoe Woods; one sister, Margaret Locklear; one grandson, Anthony Ray Hammonds and one great grandson, Tony (Tiger) Locklear, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories one daughter, Ruby Jane Humphrey; four grandchildren, Anita Hunt, Ronnie Hammonds, Sherby Jane Oxendine and Earlie Hammonds; twelve great grand children; fifteen great great grandchildren; one special great niece that she raised, Ellen Revels and a host of other relatives and friends.
