Ms. Tammy Lynn Malcolm, 57, was born in Lumberton, NC on August 18, 1967, to Mrs. Helen
Joyce Maynor Malcolm and the late Mr. Dalton Delano Malcolm Sr. She was a mother,
grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She departed from this life on Wednesday, July
2, 2025, at UNC Health Southeastern. She was preceded in death by her brother Dalton Delano
Malcolm Jr.
She leaves behind to cherish memories her mother Mrs. Helen Joyce Maynor Malcolm, one
brother Mr. Anthony Malcolm, three children, Brett, Destiny, and Chloe Malcolm, and eight
loving grandchildren, Driston Jacobs, Baileigh, Brett Jr., Brynsleigh, Cayson, and Azaliah
Malcolm, Zaylee, and Nehemiah Jacobs, all of Pembroke, one special friend Ken Dial, along
with a host of relatives and friends. Tammy touched the heart of anyone she spoke with.
Tammy lived her life finding any way she could to help others; she could figure out a solution to
any problem because she was a jack of all trades. Her kind soul made its way into the hearts of
anyone who got to know her. She had a contagious laugh, and her charms and wit left many
laughing with her. She could cook anyone under the table with half the resources and knew how
to talk her way through anything. Her boldness and charisma will never be forgotten. Tammy’s
absence will be felt deeply by all her friends and family, but especially by those who relied on
her love and support most.
