Susan Jacobs

Mrs. Susan Marie Jacobs of Rennert, North Carolina, transitioned to her heavenly home on Saturday, December 14, 2024. She was born June 29, 1961, to James Henery Locklear and Erestine T.Wynn. She preceded in death by both parents, her loving husband, Mr. Samuel Jacobs, two sisters: Kathy Locklear and Joanne Locklear.

Mrs. Susan survived by three daughters: Kelly Ann Jacobs, Breannah Jessica Locklear, and Tina Jacobs all of Pembroke; two sons: Samuel “Papa” Jacobs (Christina) and Richard Locklear both of Pembroke. She was a loving grandmother of twelve grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Also her sisters: Carol Capps, Charlene Locklear, Donna Locklear, Cathy Locklear, Joanne Locklear, and one brother Erine Biggs. Along with a host of extended family and friends.

As a woman of unwavering faith and heart, Susan was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother; she helped anyone that needed a helping hand. She would give you the shirt off her back; always a helping hand, for anyone to lean on for just a conversation, she was there. She was there if someone needed somewhere to lay their head, she was quick to say, “I’ll let you stay a night or two.”

She loved going to church and serving God. She battled cancer for a while. She was tired and weary, but God said “No More!” and called her home. Her warmth, wisdom and her family and friends will miss unshakeable spirit deeply. May her memory be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
