Shirley Ann (Locklear) Blue

Mrs. Shirley Ann Locklear Blue (Sue), 80, of Lumber Bridge, was born on June 28^th, 1941, to the late Mr. Briscoe & Mrs. Carrie Locklear. She departed this life to be with her heavenly Father September 12^th, 2021.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Roscoe “Mouse” Locklear, Albert (Rab) Locklear and Norman “Pally” Locklear and one sister, Mary Lois Locklear (Monk).

Shirley was a wonderful mother, grand, and great grandmother. She loved to travel, flowers and she loved her family.

She is survived by one sister, Eunice (Skinny) Locklear; five children, Sharon Blue Hughes of Rex NC, William “Terry” Blue, Teresa Lynn Blue of Maxton, NC, Donald Ray Blue of Oklahoma and Brenda Blue of Maxton, NC.; she was blessed with six grandchildren, Samuel Blue, Amy Maynor, Johnathan Ray Clark, William (Will) Blue, Sheena and Shannon Clark; eight known great grandchildren that she loved very much and a host of other relatives and friends.
