Sherman Locklear

Mr. Sherman (Shank) Locklear 68, of the Prospect Community, was born on November 29, 1950 to the late Lewis and Zelma Locklear of Wakulla, NC. He departed this life to continue service to his Lord on September 24, 2019 at his home surrounded by his family.

In addition to his parents, Sherman is preceded in death by his three brothers Sherwood, James Lewis “Dick,” and Kernice Locklear. Mr. Sherman leaves to cherish his memories his wife Brenda Locklear, and two sons Gavin and Garrett Locklear of the home. Two brothers Brantley (Beverly) Locklear of Lumberton, Milton “Larry” Locklear of Red Springs.  Two sisters, Orlinda (Sanford) Locklear, and Deborah Locklear of Lumberton and a host of family and friends.
