She is preceded in death by her parents to Odell(Buddy) and Betsy(Tincy) Locklear, her husband CB Locklear Jr, brothers Jerome Locklear; Odell (Sam) Locklear, Larson Locklear; and one sister Ruby Brooks.

She is survived by her children, Stanford (Faye) Locklear of Maxton, Benny Ray (Kiim) Locklear of Maxton, Cecil Locklear of the home, Teresa (Ryan) Bullard of Maxton. Her additional children Joyce Ann Locklear Laurel Hill, Nora Dial-Stanley (Steve) of Kernersville, Greg (Tammy) of Pembroke, Heather Brewington of Red Springs, Joseph (Heather) Strickland Locklear of Pembroke, April Locklear of Maxton. Her Sisters Evelyn Brooks of Maxton, Doris Locklear, Pearl Oxendine, and brother  Landis Locklear of Maxton. 22 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
