Sandra (Chavis) Locklear

Sandra Locklear, 70, of Pembroke, entered her heavenly home on October 6th, 2025. Sandra was born on December 24th, 1954, to the late Arvin Chavis and Lois Chavis. She is preceded in death by her daughter Nicoya Erin Locklear.

She is survived by her husband Albert R. Locklear. Her two daughters Kelley Chavis and Kimberly Locklear; three sons: Ellis R. Locklear, Albert R Locklear JR.,  Seth A. Locklear; twenty two grandchildren: Isaish Chavis, Ellis R. Locklear, Albert R. Locklear III, Khaila Locklear, Dezmund Locklear, Christian Locklear, Josiah Chavis, SaBella Locklear, Elijah Locklear, Mya Locklear, Hailey Locklear, Talisa Oxendine, Jasmine Oxendine, Bobby Hunt, Javen Locklear, Paula Oxendine, Kaleb Chavis, Ky McMillian,  Paul Broady, MyRaiah Lowery, Jana Locklear, Skylynn Locklear; and two great grandchildren: Rayliana Clark and Chayston Lowery. Her sisters Diana Bumgardener and Dena Walters; one brother Darrell Chavis, and a host of family and friends.

Sandra was a very caring and loving mother of five. She was hard working, always making sure her was taken care of. She was an awesome grandmother and loved her family with all of her heart. Sandra was well known for her unquie crafting skills, especially for crocheting baby blankets for loved ones and family members.
