Roy was a faithful employee at Fleetwood Mobile Homes, until an injury forced his early retirement after 21 years. Although, he struggled with his leg injury and then the loss of his voice, he never let it stop him from being strong and dependable. He was faithful and true to his word and never left a friend in need.
Roy is survived by his four sons, Melvin (Teresa) Locklear of Pembroke, Stevenson (Shana) Locklear of Lumberton, Anthony Collins of Maxton, and Terry Collins of the home.
