Rickey Lee Hunt

   Rickey Lee Hunt, 59, of Maxton passed away at his home Monday, February 10, 2020.

   Rickey was one of the most sweetest souls with a genuine personality. He was always humble and spread kindness wherever he went. Full of life with a contagious smile and laugh, he touched the hearts of anyone in his presence. Rickey was loved by all who knew him and was selfless in all his deeds and acts. He was a loving and patient son, brother, uncle and friend to all. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Rickey was a die-hard football fan with a love for the Baltimore Ravens. He was a member of the graduating class of 1979 at Fairmont High School and was currently employed through Sodexo, LLC, which he worked for 8 years. The memories of Rickey will forever be cherished and he will always be missed.

   Rickey was preceded in death by his parents Marion Grimsley, Elmer Butler and Wilbert Stull. Surviving is his stepmother Lottie Stull of the home; All seven of his siblings, Catherine Oxendine(Terry) of Fairmont, NC, Daniel Stull(Terry) of Carolina Beach, NC, Erica Gleason(Jonathan) of the home, Jill Grimsley of Fairmont, NC, Dale Miller(Ervin) of Latta, SC, Paula Locklear of Baltimore, MD, and Paul Locklear (Calinda) of Texas; Seven nieces, Amanda Freeman(Angela), Scarlette Maxwell (David), Christina Hunt (Davina), Joycestina Hunt(Michael), Kimberly Honorable (James), Rebecca Grimsley, and Baxley Jones; Four nephews, Kristopher Stull, James Locklear, Nathaniel Jones and Issac Steele; Four great nieces, Shyann Maxwell, Cori Freeman, Sage Burlow and Arizona Williams; One great nephew Marquise Maxwell.
