Redell Locklear

Redell "Papa" or "Uncle Buddy" Locklear, 84, took his last breath and went to his heavenly home October 13, 2023. 

Redell "Papa," was born July 6, 1939 to the late Mr. Willie James Locklear and Mrs. Katie Locklear. He lived a wonderful life. He got to see his children have children and his grandchildren have children. Papa was loved by many people. Papa loved the Lord and he never complained. He always told us about the goodness of the Lord. Papa was a saved man and he knew God was always with him. His favorite verse in his own words, "God will never leave you, nor forsake you and he will always be with you until the end." 

Papa is proceeded in death by 3 brothers; James Ree Locklear "Pap," Connie Ree Locklear, and Dean Locklear. 1 sister; Irene Demery. 1 sister-in-law; Glenda Locklear. 1 daughter-in-law; Cynthia Locklear. 1 daughter; Lizzie Jacobs. 1 grandchild; Allison Locklear and 5 unborn great grands. 

Papa left this life to cherish his memory, his wife Ann Locklear. Five boys; Melvin, Alvin (Beverly), Theodore (Cheryl), Calvin (Tammy), Dale (Dwyla). 4 sisters;  Agnes ( Freddy), Dotty Lee (Jerry), Carolyn (Ron Jr.), and Elizabeth. 4 brothers; Lee Vernon, Thurman, Dorman (Flora), and JC Locklear.

Papa left behind to cherish his memory 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren and 1 unborn great grandchildren. 

Papa will be loved and missed dearly.
