Parnell Locklear

    Mr. Parnell Locklear, 78 of Maxton, NC was born January 24, 1944 to the late Mrs. Annie Ruth and Mr. Winford Locklear in Robson County and passed peacefully into eternity on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at the home surrounded by his loving family. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Master Kaylean Shane Locklear; two great grandsons, Master Travis Lee Bullard and Master Keaston Bray Bullard.

      He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Mable Doris Locklear of 56 years; four daughters, Madelene Bullard(Gerald), Michelle Barton (Cecil), Hope Harris, Wendy Locklear all of Maxton; one son, Christopher Locklear of Maxton; raised three grandchildren, Gerald O’Bryan “Bubba” Bullard, Morgan “Paige” Locklear, Krishna “LaGale” Locklear; two brothers, Vernell Locklear of Pembroke and Rudolph Locklear of Cheraw, SC; two sisters, Mattie Locklear and Emma Locklear of Pembroke; 17 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
