Mary Linda (Locklear) Ruggiero

Mrs. Mary L. Ruggiero, 74, of Maxton, NC was born July 31, 1948 and departed this life October 18, 2022 at her home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Japeth Locklear; her husband, Lewis Ruggiero; two sons, Jamie Oxendine (Mary Ann) and Jimmy Ray Oxendine; two brothers, Herbert Locklear and Harold Fred Locklear; one sister, Estell Locklear; two grandsons Shalynn and Austin and other family members.

Mrs. Mary Linda leaves to cherish her memory one son, Waymon Dan McMillan (Christina) of Maxton, NC; four sisters, Marcell Locklear of Maxton, NC, Linda Clark (Ander) of Laurinburg, NC, Martha Collins of Maxton, NC and JoAnn Chavis (Henry) of Red Springs; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and a special friend Harley Jones along with other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Mrs. Mary Linda was employed with Abbott for 21 years. She was currently employed at Walgreens for 17 years. Mrs. Mary Linda will be greatly missed by all her co-workers, as well as  her customers.
