Obituary
Mrs. Margarett Hunt, 83, was born July 16, 1939 departed this life on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in the Philadelphus Community. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Annie Bell Woods; Ms. Girture Lowry and her father, Mr. Johnny B. Locklear and her daughter Mrs. Kathy Ann Hunt Bullard; one brother, Mr. Grady Locklear.
Mrs. Hunt was a devoted wife of 67 years, Mr. Cleveland Hunt; she was loving mother of four daughters, Mrs. Regina Deese (Jamie), Mrs. Wanda Bullard (Kirk), Ms. Peggy Cummings, and Mrs. Debbie Oxendine (Wylie); three sons, Mr. Mitchell Hunt, Mr. Victor Hunt (Gail) and Mr. Edward Hunt; one brother, Mr. Franklin Locklear; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; one great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 28, 2022 at Rock of Ages in Red Springs 2:00 p.m. Funeral will follow at 3:00 p.m.
