Lonia Mae Strickland

Ms. Lonia Mae Strickland , 76, of Pembroke went to be with her Heavenly Father on April 24th, 2021. She was born on March 30th, 1945. She was preceded in death by: Mr. Wilson Strickland, and Mrs. Viola Strickland and her siblings: Mr. Arnold Strickland, Mr. Wilson Strickland Jr., Mrs. Ruthie Jane Strickland, Mr. Steven Strickland, Mr. Rudolph Strickand, and Mrs. Vietta Chavis. Ms. Strickland, known to everyone as Lonia Mae, loved Nascar and “the westerns”, as she liked to call them. She leaves to cherish her daughter, Ms. Germaine Strickland; two granddaughters: Mrs. Camryn Locklear-Baker (Justin), Ms. Madison Strickland, and a grandson; Mr. Dylan Locklear; one sister: Mrs. Alice Locklear, and two brothers: Mr. Wilson Earl Strickland, and her twin brother, Mr. Richard Strickland; several nieces and nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
