Laura Frances Dial, 72, resident of Belton, passed away Saturday, October 23, 2021 at AnMed Health Medical Center.
Born June 27, 1949, in Maxton, NC, she was a daughter of the late William Berry Dial and Lena Bullard Dial. She was a graduate of Pembroke Senior High School and retired from Caterpillar in Simpsonville.
Ms. Dial was a member of Cedar Shoals Baptist Church and the Spiritual Workers Sunday School class.
Surviving are a daughter, Selena (Michael) Hamby of Belton; a son, Spencer Dial of Belton; one nephew, Jeremiah Brooks of the home; one brother, Holly Floyd Locklear of Maxton, NC; Goddaughters, Charlene Brooks of Maxton, NC, Darlene Broadwater of Honea Path and Brittany Crain of Honea Path. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews including special niece, Sharon (Troy) Taylor of Honea Path.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Dial was preceded in death by six brothers, Cleotis Dial, George Dial, James Edward Locklear, William Archie Dial, Alfred “Toot” Dial, and Duel Mack Dial and seven sisters, Lula Cain, Eliza Chavis, Polly Brooks, Luvenia Oxendine, Sarah Munoz, Evelyn Oxendine and Hazel M. Jacobs.
