Larry Morgan

Mr. Larry Morgan (Papa Larry), of Maxton, NC was born on March 21, 1947 and went to his eternal home January 5, 2022 at the age of 74.

      Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Dempsey and Mrs. Margaret Morgan; three brothers, Leonard Morgan, Bobby Morgan and Frankie Morgan; one sister, Mrs. Vera Peel and a beloved grandson, S.P.C. Dakota Kayne Morgan.

     He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Nita Chavis; three sons, Larry Morgan, Jr. of Morrisville, NC, Landon Woods (Tawanaka) and Ashton Woods both of Maxton, NC; one daughter, Chenoa Morgan (Peggy) of Warsaw, NC; two brothers, William Mercer of Pembroke, NC and David Lee Morgan of Elon, NC; one sister, Sylvia Locklear of Pembroke, NC; six grand girls, Lauren Ashley Morgan (Jesse), McKenzie Woods, Braci Woods, Piper Woods, Haidyn Woods and Maci Woods; four grandsons, Malachi Woods, Silas Woods, Seth Woods and Jace Bullard; two great grandsons, Jay Brandon Oliver and Eli Wendt; one great granddaughter, Kameron Wendt; one adopted son, Tim Oxendine and a host of other relatives and friends.
