Lacy Evans (Jr.) Jones

Mr. Lacy E. Jones Jr, 88 US Airforce Retired Vietnam Veteran of Rowland, “Elrod”, was born January 1, 1931 and left this world in peace to go be with his Heavenly Father on the afternoon of June 21, 2019.

     Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his beloved parents Lacy E. Jones Sr. and Mrs. Caroline D. Jones.

    Mr. Jones leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife Mrs. Verlyn T. Jones of the home, seven children, Ms. Carol Anders of Lumberton, Mr. Michael Jones of Asheboro, Angela Jones of Raleigh, Cynthia Rodriguez of Rowland, Allen Jones of Rowland, Leslie Jones of Lumberton, Julia Jones of the home, one sister Lou Eloise Hewette of Georgia, 11 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren and 2 nieces and a host of relatives and friends.
