Mr. Knox Jacobs 80, of 1932 Whistling Rufus Rd. Pembroke, was born August 3, 1940. He departed for his heavenly home on Saturday, December 12, 2020 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Daniel James and Emma Jacobs; three brothers, Wallace, Gene Autry and Cornell Jacobs; a baby son, Brian Keith Jacobs and granddaughter, Andrea Jacobs.
Knox is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Judy of the home; two sons, Larry(Carol) Jacobs and David (Ann) Jacobs of Pembroke; four daughters, Jeanette (David) Blue of Pembroke, Averna (Robert) Johnston of Fort Wayne, IN, Tammy(Robbie) Allen of Rockingham, Kery (Gerry) Locklear of Rowland and one sister, Ioaker Locklear; twelve grandchildren, Renee, Anthony, Larry Jr., Patrick, Nicollette, Zachary, Caroline, Nicholas, Kristen, Candice, Stuart and John; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nephews, nieces, friends and family.
Daddy worked approximately twenty years in electrical construction until he underwent triple bi-pass surgery in 1994. He enjoyed gardening, repairing bicycles, fishing, friends, family and spending time with his precious great-grandchildren; Raylan, Ryleigh and Buchanan. He will be missed dearly.
