Joseph Locklear

Mr. Joseph Locklear, 84 of Maxton, NC was born May 10, 1938 to the Late Bud Shake Locklear and Mary Locklear; raised by John Willie and Harriet Bullard and went home to be with the Lord Monday, August 15, 2022 at home with his family. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Locklear; two granddaughters, Jessica Jacobs and Tiffany Hunt; one great grandson, Braedon Hunt; his twin, Jacob Locklear; four sisters, Shirley Lowery, Adelia Locklear, Kathleen Clark, Uneallear Rogers and Claretta Chavis and one brother, John Willie (Bozo) Bullard, Jr.

He is survived by five daughters, Lorie Jacobs (Bobby), Claire Harris (Lowell), Bobbie Cummings (Michael), Tammy Jackson and Betty Joe Hill (Charles); two sons, Chris Locklear (Sandra) and Joe Patrick Locklear (Kay); four sisters, Helen Jacobs, Virginia Lowery, Judy Bullard and Daphia Chavis; eleven grands, ten great grands, one special sister-in-law, Regina Bullard; four sister-in-laws, three brother-in-laws and a host of relatives and friends.
