Joseph "Buddy" Locklear

Mr. Joseph “Buddy” Locklear, of Red Springs, NC was born on November 23, 1951 and departed this life on March 23, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center at the age of 67.      

     “Buddy” was preceded in death by his parents P.H. and  Gertrude Locklear; one sister, Florence Ann Locklear; one brother, Hubbard Locklear; maternal grandparents, Ed and Armatha Tyler and paternal grandparents, Huey and Callie Locklear.

     He leaves to cherish his memories two sisters, Linda Locklear (Greg) of Red Springs and Edith Locklear (SL) of Lumberton, NC; two brothers, Huey Locklear (Peggy) of Shannon, NC and Lloyd Locklear (Brenda) of St. Pauls, NC; one uncle, John Arch Locklear (Betty) of Maxton, NC; two aunts, Matha Lee Strickland and Evonnie S. Tyler both of Lumberton, NC and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A special thank you to his sis and caretaker Linda Locklear.
