John Jr (Pap) Locklear

Brother John Locklear, Jr. was born October 23,1938, in Robeson County, North Carolina to the late Mr. John Dozier and Mrs. Lady Locklear. He enter the presence of our Lord Sunday, May 26, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center.

    He was preceded in death by his siblings: Ernest Locklear, Francis Lowery, and Stella Collins; and his sons Master John Gary Locklear, and Dwayne Locklear.

    He is survived by his wife Lora B. Locklear; two sons: John Junior (Melissa) Locklear, III of Pembroke, Victor (Cindy) Locklear of Maxton; three daughters: Darlene (Michael) Collins of Pembroke, Rita L. (Tim) Lisenby, and Harley Locklear of Maxton; brother: Melvin (Teresa) Locklear of Pembroke; six sisters: Alicia (Praford) Lowry, Evelyn (Abram) Dial of Maxton, Patricia Harris, Peggy Locklear of Pembroke, Ann Hardin, and Sue (Roger) Hardin of Lumberton; grandchildren: Allan (Megan L.) Collins, Jonathan (Megan D.) Collins, Jody Locklear, Kalin Collins, Jaeline Locklear, Travis Lisenby, Timothy Lisenby, Amber Lisenby, Brittany Locklear, Erickson (Sierra) Locklear, Kyle Locklear, Bethany Locklear, and Victoria Locklear; nine great-grandchildren; a very special brother-in-law Roy Collins; and a host of relatives and friends.
