Jimmy James Strickland

Mr. Jimmy James Strickland, 74, of Rowland, NC, was born August 28, 1946 and departed this life on March 19, 2021 at Morrison Manor in Laurinburg, NC.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy John and Lula Mae Strickland; one daughter, Evangelina Locklear and three brothers, Wilbert Strickland, Lacy Strickland and Lonnie Strickland.

He leaves to cherish his memories two daughters, Winema Jacobs (Brandon) and Winona Strickland both of Rowland, NC; one son, Kevin Locklear (Kisha) of Maxton, NC; one step son, Harlon Oxendine; one sister, Annie Ruth Smith (Elmer) of Clio, SC; two brothers, Harvey Strickland of Maxton and Earlie Strickland of Baltimore, MD; one special son-in-law, Chuckie Butler; nine grands, Ordia, Cody, Zack, Austin, Nehemiah, Skyler, Tallon and Fallon; ten great grands and a host of other relatives and friends.
