Jessie Lee (Oxendine) Jones

Ms. Jessie Lee Jones, 74, of  Red Springs NC died Friday Feb. 14^th, 2020 at home. She was born in Robeson County on January 22^nd, 1946 to the late Mr. Hartman and Mrs. Quessie Mae Oxendine.

Ms. Jessie was preceded in death by her husband Gary Jones, son Frederick Michael Hicks, sisters Mary Joyce Marusiodis and Dottie Vain, brother James Hartman “Tam” Oxendine and granddaughter Kimberly Hicks.

Ms. Jessie leaves behind to cherish her memory daughter April (Jessie) Clark of Red Springs, David (Carol) Hicks of Georgia, Robert (Dora) Hicks of Lumberton, Ernest (Tammy) Bell Of Red Springs NC, sister Ivene O. Locklear of Pembroke,  brother Dallas Oxendine of Wagram NC, 17 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. Two special and dear friends Teresa Locklear and Linda Oxendine. Ms. Jessie was also a member of a group of ladies “ The Golden Girls of the Red Springs Lifestyle Center”  which included; Nancy McPhaul, Betty Lou Cobbs, Lois Hagan, Clara Wade, Shirley McNeill and Alicia Richardson, on Red springs NC who were very dear to her.
