Jerry Smith

Mr. Jerry Smith, 68 of Rowland, NC, departed this life on Tuesday, March 28, 2023. Jerry was born on June 22, 1954 to the late Coolidge Calvin Smith and Ethel Locklear Smith. Jerry was preceded in death by one son Anthony “Amp” Smith, his father Calvin Coolidge Smith and mother Ethel Smith, one brother Jeffery Smith and two grandsons Dalton and Dacota Harris.

Jerry was survived by one son Perry (Sonya) Smith of Rowland, NC and two daughters

Melissa ( Blake) Harris of Gibson, NC and Lanette (Marty) Hunt of Rowland ,NC and seven grand-children Whitney Smith, Corey Hunt, Makaylia Hunt, Kyra Smith, Brynleigh Harris, Brayden Smith, and Bladen Harris and one great-grandchild Gabriel Hunt. Jerry was also

survived by two brothers Terry Smith and Bobby (Carolyn) Smith , both of Rowland, NC and one sister Margaret ( Jerry) Jones and a host of nieces and nephews and relatives.

In addition to his love of hunting and fishing and all things outdoors, he was the best devoted papa ever to his little

 “outlaws”.
