Jerry Wayne Lowery

   Mr. Jerry Wayne Lowery, 58 of Maxton, went peacefully to his heavenly home on June 28, 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Jerry was born on January 6, 1965, in Lumberton, NC. He was the third of six children born to the late Rev. Daulmon Lowery Jr. and Geneva Lowery.

   Jerry was a dedicated husband, father, papa, brother, and uncle who was also seen as a father figure to many nieces and nephews. He served his country in the National Guard and worked for the Department of Transportation. He was a devoted Christian and enjoyed telling people how good God was to him. During his sickness he continued to praise God, thanking him for Hs grace and mercy.

   Jerry is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jennifer Clark Lowery; his daughters, Jerri Candace Lowery-Oxendine (Shaun) of Pembroke, Condola L. Carbaugh of Maxton, and Cassidy Lynn Clark of the home; his mother Geneva Lowery of Maxton; brothers Norman Lowery (Denise), Gary Lowery, Devon Lowery (Charlotte) all of Maxton; sisters Lisa Locklear (Jerry Wayne) and Amanda Lowery (Lamont) both of Lumberton; grandchildren Damiran Chavis, Ronlyn Oxendine, Shauniya Oxendine, Zemira Chavis, and Jozie Oxendine; and a host of special nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
