Jennifer Scott

Jennifer Scott, born April 29, 1981, at Scotland Memorial Hospital, passed away peacefully at her home on February 26, 2026. She was 44 years old.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Scott.

Jennifer’s life was filled with love, laughter, and kindness. She had a gentle spirit and a caring heart that touched everyone she met. Her warmth could light up a room, and her compassion left a lasting mark on all who knew her.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Doris Scott; her loving sister, Toria Scott (Brian Upchurch); and her brother, Ricky Chavis (Sheila). She also leaves behind one nephew, Justin Chavis; three nieces, Mary Scott, Ashleigh Lowe, and Cloe Upchurch; and one treasured great-niece, Isla Scott. Each of them carries her memory and the love she shared so freely.

Jennifer will be remembered for her kind heart, her quiet strength, and her deep devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched and the joy she brought to others.
