Janice Bullard

Mrs. Janice Bullard, 81, of the Prospect Community in Maxton, NC entered her heavenly home on Monday, October 7, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband Gene Bullard; her son Gene Bullard, Jr; her mother, Maggie Hatcher; her sister Clara Hatcher and her brother Tommy Hatcher.

She is survived by her daughter, Sabrina Scott (Hubert Jr.) of Lumberton, NC; three brothers, Clyde Hatcher of Rowland, NC, Lynn Earl Chavis of Georgia and James Franklyn Clark of Maxton, NC; her grandson, Brian Scott of Lumberton, NC; her three granddaughters, Jessica Bullard(Greg) of Lumberton, Victoria Willenburg(John) of Maxton, Gina Lynn Bullard of Laurinburg; eight great grandchildren, Daylon, Shania, Nakoma, Wyatt, Ethan, Justin, Jalisia, Bryson, Jayden; and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; along with a host of family and friends who dearly loved her.

Janice was born on April 9, 1943. Mrs. Bullard retired from Abbott Laboratories and was a devoted member of Prospect Community Church. Her favorite pass time was spending time with her family and friends. She spent most of her day enjoying a good cup of coffee and watching westerns, game shows, and the stories. If you ever had the pleasure to enjoy piece of her sweet potato bread or cakes count yourself lucky.  She will be missed dearly.
