James Locklear, Jr.

Mr. James Locklear, Jr., 71 of Prospect, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 25, 2020. Mr James was born November 23, 1948 to the late James and Ben Jane Locklear.

He was preceded in death by on son, James Major Locklear; four sisters, Ellen Jane Locklear, Exxan Locklear, Mary M Clark and Jerlean Taylor and five brothers, Lacy Locklear, Earl Locklear, Belton Locklear, Zeb Locklear and Elaris Locklear.

James is survived by his wife, Lori Ann Locklear; three daughters, Cheyanna Locklear (Mike) of the home, Brandy Locklear (Bernard) of Goldsboro and Kin Brewer (Bryan) of Lumberton; three sons, Spencer Wayne Locklear (Dawn) of Pembroke, Jimmy Patrick Locklear  and Clifton Stack  both of Proscpect; 17 grandchildren; one special grandson, Adam Ray Dial (Jaws) of the home; 11 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
