James "Leon" Jacobs

Mr. James Leon Jacobs, 84 of Parkton NC was born August 02, 1941 to Mr. Roy Lee and Bessie Jacobs and departed this life on Sunday October 26,2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Mr. Clemmie Jacobs and Mr. Hedgey Jacobs, sisters: Ms. Lois Jacobs and Ms. Geraldine Jacobs.

He survived by two sons: Mr. Jeff Jacobs and Mr. James Leonard Jacobs of Parkton, NC, and one daughter Mrs. Michelle Barnett (Cyril) of Parkton, NC.; brothers: Mr. Malcolm Jacobs ( Maryann) of Red Springs, NC, Mr. Ray Jacobs of Pembroke, NC, Mr. Horace Jacobs (Vicki) of Prospect, NC, Mr. Charles Jacobs (June) of Maxton, NC, Mr. Marcus Jacobs (Cynthia) of Red Springs, NC; sisters: Mrs. Linda Bebb (Scott) and Eva Mae McMillan of Red Springs, NC; and a special friend Joyce Miller.

He retired from Goodyear Tire Company after 30 years of Loyal service. He enjoyed fishing and major league baseball. He enjoyed working in his garden/ spending time outside when the weather permitted. He loved talking on the phone and was a great story teller of his younger years with his siblings growing up. He always enjoyed working with his puzzle books. He was a wonderful daddy, brother, uncle, and friend. Whom will be missed by many.
