Hoyland Irene (Boodie) Jones

Mrs. Hoyland Irene Jones (Boodie) 69, of Maxton, NC was born December 16, 1951 to the late Roman and Emma Mae Jacobs and departed this life on January 10, 2021. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by three sisters, Glenda Locklear, Shirley Bullard and Gertrude Lowery; four brother, Holland Jacobs, Roman Jacobs, Jr., Howard Jacobs and James Jacobs; one great grandchild, Alexis Jade Oxendine.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Bracy Jones Jr. “Butch”, two daughters, Jennie “Becky” Sanders (Jerome) and Janet Jones (David)both of Maxton; one son, Jason Jones of Maxton; two sisters, Donna Scott (Eric) and Charlene Jacobs; sister-in-law, Ida Bell Jacobs; nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren; two special grandchildren Brain Locklear and Aaron Jacobs; a honorary sister Linda Hershberger; a honorary nephew Perry Lowery and a host of relatives and friends.
