Horace "Pooka" Locklear

 Mr. Horace Lockelar “Pooka”, 85, of Maxton, NC was born February 29, 1936 to the late Mr. Everette Locklear and Mrs. Dove McMillian Locklear. Mr Horace departed his earthly life on Sunday, January 30 2022 at UNC Health Southeastern. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones as the gates of Heaven were opened wide and he was welcomed home. 

In addition to his parents Mr. Horace was preceded in death by his siblings, Ms. Myrtle (Nook), Ms. Linell (Lady), Ms. Evelyn (Muss), Ms. Mary Sue (Bink), Mr. Dook, Mr. William (Son), Mr. Bill R. (Lumpin) and Mr. Baker (Bock).

Mr. Horace is survived by his wife, Mrs. Rosen Dale Locklear of the home; two daugeters, Ms. Christina Michelle Locklear (Pembroke) and Ms. Miranda Locklear  and son, Jacy McKinley Locklear (Pembroke); two sons, Mr. Timothy Locklear (Pembroke) and son, Tracen George Locklear and Mr. Tony Bullard and family and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and church memebers.  

Mr. Horace have a host of friends since he never met a stranger. Bro. Horace loved him some Pastor Larry, Pastor Jason, Mr. James Harold and Venus.
