Harvey Jacobs

Harvey Jacobs , 92 of Pembroke NC passed away peacefully at Woodhaven Nursing Home. Harvey was born in Robeson County to the late  Mr. Munford Jacobs  and  Mrs. James Anna Jacobs. He is preceded in death his loving wife of 52 years Mrs. Arline Jacobs. A son Mr. Gerald Jacobs, Mr. Ricky Jacobs, Mr. James Jacobs, and sister Vera Morgan. He leaves to cherish his memory four sons William Chavis (Mary) of Rennert, Ozzie Jacobs (Miranna)  of Pennsylvania, Chris Jacobs and David Jacobs of Pembroke NC. Two granddaughter Amanda Chavis and Zora Stewart of Pembroke, one grandson Shawn Chavis (Quleita) of Rennert, one brother Mr. Karl Dimp Jacobs of Lumberton NC and a host of relatives and friends. Harvey loved to serve his country by serving in the United States Army. He loved to travel to Baltimore Maryland which he once lived, loved to meet new people , work on watches, and television. He spent most of his free time at the Flea Market  and using his metal detector looking for the latest treasures. He was a devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather and great great grandfather.  He will be truly missed by us all. The family would like to thank Liberty Hospice of Lumberton for the love and care He received while at home.
