Harold Oxendine Obituary

Mr. Harold Dean Oxendine was born February 14, 1946 to the late Mr. Rudolph and Mrs. Susanna Oxendine in the Prospect Community and passed away September 30, 2021.

Mr. Heavy, as often called, was a son, brother, father, grandfather, great-grand father, father in-law, grandfather in-law, uncle and a great friend to all. He was a person with a big heart of gold. A man that loved his family and friends and was a hard worker.  Harold was an avid painter and carpenter by trade.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Rosette Locklear and Mrs. Ella Mae Bullard and three brothers, Mr. Anthony Oxendine, Mr. Herbert Oxendine and Mr. R.D. Oxendine. 

Mr. Harold is survived by one brother, Mr. James Lee Oxendine; three sisters, Mrs. Mildred MacKinnon, Mrs. Mary Margaret and Mrs. Annie Lois Pierson; three daughters, Mrs. Shelia Oxendine (Kenny), Mrs. Twila Oxendine Revels (Charles) and Ms. April Woods; one son, Mr. Michael Dean Oxendine; eleven grandkids, Charles Earl Revels (Judy), Brandy Oxendine (Alex), Ashley Oxendine (Johnny), Victoria Revels Henderson (William), Laken McGirt, Patricia Locklear Hammonds (Ray), Jasmine Revels Anderson (Tyler), Tyler Oxendine Smith (Nicklaus), Michael C. Oxendine, Joshlyann Altman and Caleb Altman; 23 great grands; three special friends, Eddie Locklear (Hoodie), Daniel Jacobs and Rickie Woods and a host of other relatives and friends.
