Harlee Tarell Strickland

   Ms. Harlee Tarell Strickland, 29, of Maxton, NC was born in Scotland County, NC on March 28, 1992 and departed this world on Friday June 25, 2021, at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton NC.

She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Mr.  & Mrs. Leon (Orene) Harris and Mrs. Tina Harris Jacobs.

She leaves to cherish her memories her mother, Ms. Anita Harris (Derrick) of Rowland NC; her father, Mr. Homer Strickland Jr.; her aunt, Tammy Harris-Maynor (Matthew), who was also a mother in all the ways that mattered too; her only sister, Haylee Scott (Kalin); her only nephew, which was her heart and soul, Haylin; step-mother Tonya Locklear; lifetime friend Chloe Locklear and a host of relatives and friends.

   Harlee was the life of any situation. She was a fighter and loved others 100%, regardless of the situation. We all have lost a beautiful encouraging soul.
