Frank, a husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2025 at home surrounded by family at the age of 93. Born on November 30, 1932, he lived a life defined by hard work, humility, and quiet strength.
He was preceded in death by his late wife Roise Neil Locklear. Also preceded by his first wife Mary Ruth Locklear, the mother of his children. He is survived by Twania Polston(Wayne) of the home, Belinda Chavis(Mack), Libby L. Oxendine(Clint), Jimmy Cummings(Bonnie), 17 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
A lineman by trade and a farmer at heart, Frank spent his life providing for his family with calloused hands and an unwavering work ethic. He rose before the sun and never shied away from long days, believing that honest work was something to be proud of. Whether restoring power after a storm or tending to the land he loved, he approached every task with dedication and grit.
Frank was a man of few words, but his actions spoke volumes. He valued family, respected the land, and believed in doing things the right way. He found peace in simple moments—raising cattle, caring for his chickens, and riding around going to the scrapyard.
Frank’s legacy lives on in the values he passed down: perseverance, integrity, and the importance of a hard day’s work. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
