Florentina (Acosta) Lowery

   Mrs. Florentina Acosta Lowery, of Pembroke, NC was born on December 8, 1934 to the late Cruz and Pauline Benavidez Acosta in Hobbs, New Mexico. She departed this life September 20, 2022 completing her life of 87 years.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Flora was preceded in death by her husband, John Albert Lowery; two sons, Ray Acosta and Stevie Lowery; two granddaughters, Jessica Lowery and Michelle Smith; three brothers, Inez Acosta, Rudolph Acosta and Cruz Acosta; two sisters, Josephine Acosta Najera and Susie Acosta Rendon and one special sister-in-law that raised her as her own, Ms. Katie Acosta.Mrs.

Lowery leaves to cherish her memories, one son, Steven Ryan Lowery (Carlisa); three daughters, Twila Sue Lowery (Dwight), Wettea Locklear (Chancy) and Pauline Jacobs (Terry); one sister, Ms. Isabella Acosta; seven grandchildren, Jason Acosta, Rico Lowery, Priscilla Cummings, Savannah Lowery, Josh Lowery, Adam Locklear and Carlis Rylan Lowery; fourteen great grandchilden, Justin, Destiny, Jayden, Elijah, Jayleigh, Ethan, Taylor, Nakaiah, Brielle, Bryson, Eden, Jakoma, Michael and Tristian; four special neices, Sonda, Rose, Wanda and Laura; two special neighbors, Todd and Barbara; two special caregivers, Michelle and Wendy and a host of other relatives and friends.
