Elliott Lloyd Obituary

Elliott Dewayne “Elvis” Lloyd, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at his home on Tonya L. Road in the Prospect Community on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, following an extended illness. Born on August 24, 1964, Elliott was a man known for his faith in God and his strength, humor, and unwavering love for his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alton and Lillian Lloyd, and Walter Lowery. He was also preceded in death by his siblings Mitchell Deese and Patricia Kotuski. Throughout his life, Elliott enjoyed simple pleasures—farming, hunting, fishing, and “cutting up” with family and friends. He could always bring laughter into the room, even during life’s hardest moments. Elliott faced a hard life with remarkable resilience, courageously battling sickness on and off for 15 years. Despite his struggles, he remained strong, generous, and kind. He was the proud owner of E.L. Farms and worked hard to grow his farm from the ground up. Elliott was the kind of man who would always lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

He was a devoted husband to Karen Moore Lloyd, with whom he shared 41 years of marriage. Together, they built a life rooted in love, hard work, and family.Elliott was a proud father to two children, who he deeply loved, his daughter, Mrs. Ariana Lloyd (Mickey Hunt) of the Prospect Community and his son, Mr. Aaron Lloyd of Lawrenceville, Georgia. He was a constant source of support and encouragement for his children, standing by them through every stage of their lives.

He also found great joy in being a grandfather and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, Tylon Lloyd and Brayson Hunt of Prospect. He was also blessed with two bonus grandchildren, Mikayla and Justin Hunt.  His many nieces and nephews also loved spending time with “Uncle Elvis”. Elliott leaves behind two brothers, David Deese and Larry Deese and three sisters, Jennifer Lloyd, Vangie Jacobs, and Julianna Lowery.  He also leaves a very special friend, Mr. James Oxendine.

In addition to his immediate family, Elliott leaves behind a host of other relatives and many friends who will miss him deeply and cherish his memory.
