Eddie loved the Lord and always enjoyed having a deep conversation about the scriptures. He enjoyed his family and took pleasure in attending “eating meetings” with his loved ones. Eddie loved "his boys" and cherished the time with his grandchildren and the bond they shared was filled with profound love and warmth. He took time to travel and attended many powwows, festivals, sporting events, and visited many different communities, both large and small. Eddie served his country in the North Carolina National Guard and was a proud member of the Lumbee Warriors Association. He was a member of the Red Springs High School Class of 1975. After growing up in Cherokee Chapel Holiness Methodist Church, Eddie enjoyed attending Saddletree Church of God and the Rock Church of God. He had recently found his passion as a disc jockey with WLPS 89.5 and passed away doing what he loved, playing and sharing the gospel with his listeners. He enjoyed the hobbies of putting together puzzles and cooking. Eddie never met a stranger and was always willing to help donate his time and treasure to those in need. He was deeply loved and will be truly missed by all of those who knew him.
