Mrs. Dorothy Jones, 84, of Shannon, NC, was born June 5th, 1938 and gained her heavenly wings Tuesday, June 14th, 2022. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Curt and Harriett Bell and her husbands, Barlie McNeill and Kacy Jones. She was the last living of her five brothers and two sisters.
Mrs. Dorothy is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Victoria Jacobs (James Prestwood); one granddaughter, Latasha Nicole Jacobs; one grandson, James Elliott Jacobs; two great grandchildren, Bransleigh Locklear and James Daniel Jacobs; a special niece, Maybelline Hammonds; two special friends, Gladys McNeill and Mary Ellen Locklear; her family afar and many other friends.
