Diane Frances Chavis

Mrs. Diane Frances Chavis, 72 of Pembroke, NC was born July 7, 1951. Mrs. Chavis went home to be with the Lord Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at her home.

She was preceded in death by her mother Annie L. Jacobs, , father James Alton Jacobs; five brothers, J.W. Jacobs, Vardell Jacobs, Eugene Jacobs, William Jennings Jacobs, and Johnson Jacobs; three sisters, Clara M. Brooks, Betty Jane Jacobs, Flora Jane Lowry and her grandson Christian S Chavis.

Mrs. Chavis a member of Elrod Baptist Church for over fourty years.

Mrs. Diane leave to cherish her memories her husband Glenn Lee Locklear of the home, her daughter, Tammy Chavis (Jamie), one son Christopher Chavis (Aleice), one sister, Oneida Cummings (Kelly) and one brother James A Jacobs Jr. all of Pembroke; two stepsons Glenn D Locklear and Frankie L. Locklear. Special niece Kassidy M.Clark (Peaches), three grandsons Bobby S. Chavis, John L. Locklear Jr. and Kaeiln Bird (Jordan) of Pembroke; one great great grand Kenlyn Grace Bird. And to a host of family and friends.
