David Henry Locklear

Mr. David Henry Locklear of Red Springs, NC was born June 14, 1942 to the late Mr. John Henry and Mrs. Bessie Mae Locklear and passed away April 9, 2019 at First Health Moore Regional in Pinehurst, NC. 

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Elizabeth Goins and Peggy Oxendine.

Mr. Locklear leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Carolyn Locklear; four sons, David E Locklear (Rita) of Lumberton, NC, Ricky D Locklear (Anna) of Red Springs, NC, Lynn Dale Locklear (Melinda) of Shannon, NC and Timmy R Locklear (Brandy); two daughters, Beverly L Houston (David) and Jennifer C Locklear (Michael); five brothers, Harold Locklear, Reese Oxendine, Charles Oxendine, Stenson Oxendine all of Red Springs, NC and Johnny Oxendine of Lumberton; four sisters, Alean Cummings of Lumberton, NC, Christine Murchison, Madie Rose Oxendine both of Red Springs, NC and Janice Locklear of Pembroke, NC; 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, his lifelong devoted friend “Bear” and a host of other relatives and friends.
