Danford Dial, Jr.

    Mr. Danford Dial, Jr., was born September 10, 1948 and departed this life Wednesday night January 1, 2020 at home with his wife by his side.

Mr. Dial is preceded in death by his parents, Danford and Reece Dial and one brother, Harold G. Dial.

Danny, as he was, lovingly called, graduated from Pembroke State University, with a BA degree in English and Spanish.  He taught for 30 years.

Danny leaves to cherish his wonderful memories, his wife, Dorathy; one son, Nakima Dial (Michelle) of Virginia; three grandchildren, Keilah, Meoquanee and Enola; one sister, Maureen Dial; one brother, Maurice (Linda) Dial and daughters, Amber and Jadell Hawks; one special sister-in-law, Andrea Cummings and family and a host of other relatives and friends.
