Mr. Cleveland H. Hunt, Jr. 86, was born January 18, 1937 departed this life on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in the Philadelphus Community. He is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Hunt, his parents, Cleveland S. Hunt and Mary Lee Locklear Hunt; his daughter, Kathy Ann Hunt Bullard; three brother, William Leslie Hunt, Earl Locklear and Ervin Hunt; one sister, Helen Locklear.

    Mr. Hunt was loving father of four daughters, Regina Deese (Jamie), Wanda Bullard (Kirk), Peggy Cummings, and. Debbie Oxendine (Wylie); three sons, Mitchell W Hunt,  Victor Hunt (Gail) and  Edward R. Hunt; two brothers, Willie French Hunt of Red Springs and Cardale Hunt, of Whiteville; six sisters, Cletis Hunt, Maria Locklear, Brenda H. Locklear, Glenda Lowery and Betty Jane Hunt, all of Pembroke, and Linda Locklear, of Red Springs; fourteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two great-great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
