Mrs. Clarise Lula Locklear, 88, of Maxton, NC, was born December 12, 1934 to the late Mrs. Daisy Lowery and departed this life on June 15, 2023.
Mrs. Clarise was proceeded in death by three sons: Rodney Locklear, Tony Locklear, Kenneth Locklear and one grand-daughter: Marcella Locklear.
She is survived by seven sons, Berdie Bullard (Barbara), Robert Locklear, Richard Locklear, Dean Martin Locklear (Bonita) all of Maxton, Vick Locklear of Charlotte, Roger Locklear of Lumberton, and Kenneth Locklear of Gastonia; three daughters, Margie Castro (Servando) and Daisy Bullard of Maxton, and Lula Pevia (Rev. Rickey) of Fayetteville; one sister, Catherine Sides; twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; three nieces; two nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
