Cheryl Faye (Oxendine) Chavis

Mrs. Cheryl Faye Chavis, 56, of Red Springs, NC was born November 26, 1964 and departed this earth of her heavenly flight to be with the Lord on Monday, February 22, 2021 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.

Today is a celebration of her life and it is a reminder to all here that we can be with her in heaven when the day of our flight comes.

Mrs. Chavis was preceded in death by Baby Chavis.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories, the love of her life, her soulmate and husband of 37 years, Mr. Jerry Chavis; two sons, Mr. Berry Lynn Chavis and Mr. Jeremiah Ryan Chavis; one daughter, Ms. Markisha Lee Chavis all of Red Springs, NC; five grandchildren whom she loved so dearly, Austin, Jacobi, Khweaya, Chesley and Madison; her parents, Mr. Haywood Wilkie and Mrs. Dora Lee Oxendine; three brothers, Mr. Wendell Oxendine (Bernice), Mr. Fletcher Oxendine (Bonita) and Mr. Isarel Oxendine (Renee) all of Raeford, NC and three sisters, Ms. Doreen Oxendine, Mrs. Linda Rose Jacobs (Ricky) and Mrs. Sue Ellen Jacobs (Harold) all of Raeford, NC. She also leaves many cherished memories with her nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
